Our Story

Eleven 10 Architecture is a bustling practice of experienced and talented architects, designers and technologists.  The company was founded in 2011 by Daniel Gill and in 2013 it was evident that the practice had to expand to meet the demand for its high service standard. It was at this time that Daniel approached Jacob Reyneke to join him in his venture to build a practice which aims to meet our clients’ requirements through a diverse service portfolio. Phillip Bristow joined Eleven10 in November 2016 and was instrumental in establishing the Taunton office, having relocated from London in 2007.

As conservation specialists, the practice holds membership with the Architects Accredited in Building Conservation (AABC) and Association for Studies in the Conservation of Historic Buildings (ASCHB).

Our focus is on people. Our staff, our clients and the consultants and contractors we work with.

Daniel Gill MCIAT

Daniel Gill is a qualified and chartered Architectural Technologist with over 18 years of experience within the construction industry. Initially working as a general contractor, he then qualified through LSB University with Honours and joined a RIBA practice in South West London, working within the residential sector on listed buildings, as well as commercial properties, prior to establishing the Eleven 10 practice.

Daniel delivers a bespoke, holistic, turn-key service to clients based in the UK and abroad, focussed on high-end and listed properties in Central London. He has a wealth of experience and contacts, with a swift grasp of client requirements, project shareholders, financial implications, design and delivery criteria.

This, along with many years of hands-on experience within the construction phase, brings a very real and pragmatic approach to the procurement process.

Jacob Reyneke MBA

Jacob studied architecture at the University of Pretoria in South Africa, during which time he also worked as an electrician's apprentice, decorator and boat builder. Between raising 2 children, starting a nursery school and architecture practice he managed to complete an MBA with the Open University

He has worked in Pretoria, Cape Town, Stellenbosch and London on projects ranging from corporate interiors and large residential developments such as wine & golf estates and apartment complexes, to high end homes. Between 2007 and 2013 Jacob worked for an award winning London practice before joining Daniel at Eleven 10.

Phillip Bristow BA (Hons.) Dip Arch, ARB, RIBA, HNC.

Phillip has over 20 years experience as a chartered architect (RIBA) in a variety of sectors (commercial, residential, industrial, educational and community).

Having worked as an architectural technologist from 1987-90, Phillip chose to begin his professional training as an architect in the autumn of 1991. During this time he gained a Distinction in his postgraduate dissertation.

In 2005, Phillip trained as a counsellor, where he gained a Postgraduate Advanced Diploma in the Creative and Therapeutic Application of the Arts, as well as Creative Group Work (East London University). Additionally, his experience in one-to-one pastoral care has spanned over 2 decades. These skills assist in creatively providing and communicating solutions to large groups, clients, planning departments and other third parties involved in the planning and construction process.

Phillip has a strong desire to promote community and wellbeing through creative and well-considered design, and has many years’ practical experience working with a variety of different people groups. As a father of a child with complex additional needs, his first-hand experience has proven to be directly applicable whilst designing for clients such as Somerset County Council, Autism services and other specialist providers.

He has won a number of local and national design competitions (between 2012-2018) and provides an intuitive approach to design, which is further informed by his love of music (plays acoustic & electric guitar) and the arts.
